Frequently Asked Questions
How do I add audio?
Use the add or import button in KikiPlayer and choose one or more audio files from the Files app or iCloud Drive. Imported files are copied into KikiPlayer's local library on your device.
How do bookmarks and section loops work?
Add bookmarks at important moments while listening. You can name bookmarks and move directly between them. When section looping is enabled, KikiPlayer repeats the section between adjacent bookmarks.
Can I change playback speed?
Yes. KikiPlayer supports playback speeds from 0.25× to 2×. You can also use two pairs of backward and forward skip controls. Their intervals can each be set from 1 to 30 seconds in Settings; the defaults are 5 and 10 seconds.
What do BPM and musical key mean?
KikiPlayer estimates BPM and musical key from the audio signal when you open Audio Information. These values are estimates and may not be accurate for every recording.
Where are my files and bookmarks stored?
Imported audio, playlists, recent items, bookmarks, and app settings are stored locally on your device. KikiPlayer does not require an account and does not provide its own cloud library or sync service. Whether app data is included in a device backup is controlled by your iOS and iCloud backup settings.
What happens when I delete a track?
Deleting a track from the KikiPlayer library removes the app's local copy and its references in playlists and recent items. The original file in Files or iCloud Drive is not deleted.
Does KikiPlayer require an account?
No. KikiPlayer does not require registration or sign-in.
