Do I need an Apple Watch?
Apple Watch is required for automatic swing detection, live heart rate, and GPS shot tracking during a round. You can still review rounds and edit shot data on iPhone after data is recorded.
How do I connect my Apple Watch?
Install GoDivot on both your iPhone and Apple Watch. Open GoDivot on your iPhone first, then open it on your Apple Watch. Pairing uses Apple Watch Connectivity, so make sure both devices are paired, nearby, and using the same Apple ID. Bluetooth and Wi-Fi should be enabled.
How do I start a round?
Start and end rounds from GoDivot on Apple Watch. During an active round, the Watch records GPS fixes, detects swings, and sends shot data to your iPhone. After the round, open GoDivot on iPhone to review the map, shot list, and statistics.
Why was a swing not recorded?
GoDivot needs a recent GPS fix before it can save a shot location. Swing detection may also ignore motion that looks like noise, non-shot motion, or a putt depending on your settings. Try waiting a few seconds for GPS to settle before your first shot.
The distance or map position seems off. What should I check?
Distance accuracy depends on GPS quality and map data. For best results:
- Allow Location access for GoDivot on Apple Watch.
- Give the Watch a few seconds outdoors to acquire a strong GPS signal.
- Avoid heavy tree cover, indoor areas, tunnels, or structures that can block GPS.
- Confirm that Health, Motion & Fitness, and Location permissions are enabled if you want full round stats.
Where is my round history stored?
GoDivot does not require an account and does not sync your personal round history to an online account. Round data is primarily stored locally on your iPhone. Apple Watch transfers round data to the iPhone using Apple Watch Connectivity.
How do I delete my data?
You can delete rounds or shots in the app where those controls are available. Because GoDivot stores personal round history locally, deleting the app or erasing app data from your device also removes local GoDivot data from that device. You can manage HealthKit data separately in the Apple Health app.
How do I manage or cancel my subscription?
Open GoDivot settings and use the subscription management option, or manage your subscription from Apple account subscription settings. In-app purchases are processed by Apple.
How do I request a refund?
Refund requests for Apple In-App Purchases must be submitted through Apple's Report a Problem page. Email us if you need help finding the right Apple support flow.
